However, other drug crimes such as manufacturing a controlled substance remain felonies in the state. Here is what you need to know about manufacturing drugs in Oklahoma.
What Constitutes Manufacture of a Controlled Substance In Tulsa?
In Oklahoma, any person who offers, solicits, attempts, endeavors, or conspires to manufacture illegal drugs can be convicted of a felony. Okla. Stat. tit. 63 § 2-408

- to take any part in the production, preparation, processing, and propagation of a controlled dangerous substance; either
- directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of natural or synthetic origin; or
- independently by means of chemical synthesis; or
- by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis.
This includes the typical meth lab, but it also includes growing marijuana.
